Mark Zaleski & Co. reimagine the punk, R&B, metal and Top 40 hits that defined a decade through the lens of jazz with an all-star cast!

Internationally touring jazz musician, Mark Zaleski, has distinguished himself as a uniquely dynamic soloist, multi-instrumentalist, and band leader. He has performed with a diverse group of notable artists from the jazz genre and beyond including Dave Brubeck, Jethro Tull, Lake Street Dive, Louis Cole, Donny McCaslin,  Antonio Sanchez,  the Either/Orchestra and the grammy-winning 8 Bit Big Band.  

The Mark Zaleski Band records for Origin Records, and has notable appearances have been at Small’s in New York City, Scullers in Boston, the Ballard Jazz Festival in Seattle, the Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival in Boston, Sam First in Los Angeles, and the Istanbul Jazz Festival.  He has four records under this moniker, including a 2021 tribute to Dave Brubeck called “Our Time” and a 2017 record where Zaleski played saxophone and double bass called “Days, Months, Years.    His next record, due to release in 2026, will be a tribute to the 90’s, and will feature Troy Roberts, Jason Palmer, Cecil Alexander, Glenn Zaleski, Matt Dwonszyk, and Jonathan Barber.   

Additionally, Zaleski is active in many diverse musical projects including work, Mehmet Sanlikol, Matt Savage, Omar Thomas, Ayn Inserto, Samantha Farrell, the BT/ALC  Big Band, and The Brighton Beat.  He has been a featured soloist with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, and will be a featured soloist with the NEC Wind Ensemble this coming April.

He is currently on faculty in the jazz department in the New England Conservatory College Program, and also is a professor in the harmony and jazz composition department at Berklee College of Music and Berklee Online.   He is an active clinician at high schools and college programs across the world.
