12/21 Jazz Vocal Jam Session feat Rebecca Curto (3pm-6pm)

Live music is back on stage at The Mad Monkfish! For those who can't make it to the Jazz Baroness Room, Monkfish now streams live all of its performances on their Facebook page. 

The Jazz Vocal Jam Session takes place the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month from 3pm-6pm. A featured vocalist will start each session before inviting other vocalists to join the house band. There will be a physical sign-up sheet which will be first come, first serve.

This week the featured singer will be Rebecca Curto.

Rebecca Curto is an Italian jazz vocalist and songwriter. She began her musical journey studying voice and piano at her local music high school, later performing across Italy in jazz clubs, jazz festivals, private events, and live music venues. She is also a member of the Italian vocal quintet Women in Blue, performing a cappella arrangements that range from jazz and gospel to R&B and spirituals.

In 2024, she attended the Umbria Jazz Festival Clinics, where she was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music. She is now based in Boston, continuing her artistic and academic development.

Her style is rooted in emotional honesty, vocal color, and expressive storytelling, drawing inspiration from Italian singer-songwriters of the 1930s–1960s as well as jazz icons such as Sarah Vaughan and Anita O’Day
