Live music is back on stage at The Mad Monkfish! For those who can't make it to the Jazz Baroness Room, Monkfish now streams live all of its performances on their Facebook page.
The Jazz Vocal Jam Session takes place the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month from 3pm-6pm. A featured vocalist will start each session before inviting other vocalists to join the house band. There will be a physical sign-up sheet which will be first come, first serve.
We appreciate if you purchase something to help the restaurant out for bringing all of this great jazz to us!
This week the featured singer will be Rory Allen.
Rory is a singer from West Hartford Connecticut focused on Jazz and RnB. She is also a composer, writing for piano and guitar. She has had the honor of singing with and learning from Nicole Zuritas and DeWitt Fleming Jr, has performed at the Hartford Jazz Festival. Rory is currently a student at Berklee college of music.
